We’re looking for freelance social video editors, with experience in editing for Snapchat Discover, TikTok & YouTube, to join KNGDM Entertainment, a growing start-up pop culture channel producing scripted, presenter-led videos.
Each project consists of one presenter-led episode delivered in two formats: a vertical version for TikTok/Snapchat and a horizontal version for YouTube. The total payment per project is £70, covering both versions.
This is a great opportunity for editors who have:
- Native or professional level understanding of English to handle subtitling for a range of accents
- Strengths in Premiere Pro to bring otherwise mundane edits to life
- Creativity and passion for making fast-paced, engaging edits that follow a clear narrative structure
- A love and strong ability to recall moments from TV, Film & Pop Culture
What you’ll be editing:
- Videos between 8–12 minutes, based on a single presenter rush & clips from film, TV & interviews
- 2-5 edits per week, depending on editor skill level
- Cuts guided by a detailed script with clip references
- Opportunity to source additional footage to bring each story to life
- Final video aligned with our established house style — thoughtful pacing, subtitles, and b-roll
Deliverables per episode:
- 1x vertical video (1920x1080) with subtitles for TikTok/Snapchat
- 1x horizontal version (1920x1080) without subtitles for YouTube
- All working project files (Premiere Pro, After Effects if applicable)
- Turnaround: 2 working days from receiving materials
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience using Adobe Premiere Pro
- 3+ years editing long-form YouTube videos
- 3+ years editing creatively for social platforms
- Strong English comprehension and storytelling instincts
- Excellent pacing, humour, and visual communication
- Comfortable working remotely with reliable, consistent delivery
Note: If you are in full-time work or education, this role may not be suitable; we move quickly with trending stories.
Revisions:
- Unlimited technical revisions (e.g., spelling, rendering, export issues)
- Up to 2 rounds of creative revisions (e.g., pacing, flow, clip choices)
Each completed set counts as one paid video. As a start-up, we’re scaling fast and looking for editors who want to grow with us and help shape a new voice in pop culture storytelling for the digital generation.
If interested, a cover letter goes a long way & even better if they have links to relevant content.
