Freelance Shorts Video Editor (Pop Culture)

We’re hiring freelance short-form video editors for KNGDM Entertainment; our original Entertainment channel & other KNGDM outlets, creating presenter-led content around film, TV, and pop culture for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

If you have a love for Film & Television this will be right for you as your extensive knowledge will play a heavy role in clip selection!

About Us

KNGDMInc is a UK-based social media Start-up focused on content creation, strategy, and series development. KNGDM Entertainment is our digital channel delivering daily vertical videos built for a pop culture audience.

Role Overview

This is a freelance contract role where you will:

• Edit 1–3 vertical videos on a rolling basis per contract (1–3 minutes each)

Receive

• A presenter rush
• A script with b-roll links (additional sourcing may be required)

Editor

• Deliver subtitle-styled edits in line with our in-house style
• Deliver assets
• Complete up to 2 rounds of creative revisions
• Revision of technical errors (e.g. unbalanced sound, glitches, subtitle errors)

What We’re Looking For

• A deep love and understanding of film, TV, and pop culture
• Proven ability to edit engaging, fast-paced shorts for social platforms
• Strong English and storytelling skills
• Comfortable working to deadlines
• Good communicator who works well with remote teams
• Experience editing videos to script with flair
• Understanding of pacing, formatting, and subtitling for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
