AboutTheRole:

Wearelookingforafriendlyandwell-roundedretailassistantthathasapassionforsustainabilityanddeliveringexceptionalcustomerservicetojoinourdynamicandhardworkingteam.

Youwillbethefaceofourvibrantretailspace,attheentrancetotheKneppRewildingProjectandWildingKitchen.Youwillbemanningourtillsandservicepoints,answeringquestionsaboutthewiderprojectandensuringeveryvisitortoKnepphasamemorableexperience.Youwillbeconfidentinhandlingfreshandambientfoodstockaswellaslifestyleproductsfromover120suppliers,keepingshelveswellstockedanddisplaysseasonalandinviting.Youwillbesupportingwithadministrativetaskssuchasstocktakingandstockrecordmanagementonourtillsoftware,EPOS.

Ifyouthriveinfast,paced,busyenvironmentwhilstkeepingattentiontodetailandloveengagingwithcustomersaboutnatureandallthingsrewilding,wedlovetohearfromyou.

KeyResponsibilities:

Customerservice:

• Servingcustomersonourstills,processingtransactions,takingpaymentandbeingconfidentwithourtillsoftware.Trainingwillbeprovidedwiththis.
• Answeringquestionsaboutstockavailability,products/suppliersandartistsaswellastheRewildingProjectandKneppsotherareassuchaswildlife,walkingroutes,safariofferings,gardentoursandWildlandFoundation.
• Createengagingcustomerrelationships,throughsharinggenuineexperience,personalinterestsandpassionforwildlifeandnature.

Stock/Products:

• Ensurethattheshopfloorisalwaysfullystockedthrougheffectiveuseofourreplenishmentsystems.
• Supportingtheprocessingofdeliveries,stockmanagementandbackofhousestockadministrationwithdiligenceandattentiontodetail.
• Workinginourwarehouse,handinglargecratesofproducefromourmarketgarden,butcheryandothersuppliers.
• Ensuringvisualmerchandisingandpresentationofproductsisinlinewithourguidelines.

Operations:

• Ensureallhealthandsafetypoliciesarealwaysadheredto,ensuringallchecklistarecompleted,includingbutnotlimitedto,bathrooms,on-sitedogwash,warehouseandthestore.Trainingwillbeprovided.
• Generalhousekeepinginfrontandbackofhouse.SupportingoperationsinourwarehousewhichactsasadistributortootherKneppoutlets.
• Beingflexibletocompletenewandad-hoctasksinafastpacedanddynamicenvironment.
• Contributetothecontinuousimprovementofoperations,alwaysseekingbettermoreefficientpracticesandfeedingbackonpotentialchanges.
• SupportthedeliveryofeventsinstoreandattheKneppWildingKitchen,suchasAuthorTalksandArtExhibitions.
