The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join a talented brigade in a kitchen that consistently delivers at 3 Rosette standard. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will take a hands-on leadership role, driving creativity, organisation, and consistency across every service.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and oversee the team in their absence
- Prepare and cook dishes to 3 Rosette level with precision and consistency
- Manage your section effectively, ensuring readiness, organisation, and quality control
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal innovation
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards
- Maintain a clean, well-organised work environment and lead by example
- Mentor and develop junior chefs, encouraging continuous learning and progression
- Assist with stock management, ordering, and supplier relationships
About You
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a 2–3 Rosette or Michelin Guide-standard kitchen
- Exceptional technical ability and a passion for high-end modern British cuisine
- Calm, confident, and professional under pressure
- Strong communicator and natural team leader with a supportive management style
- Organised and detail-oriented, with pride in presentation and flavour
