An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Restaurant Manager to join one of Wales' most celebrated dining destinations. Situated on the stunning Gower Peninsula, this award-winning beachfront restaurant has proudly held a Michelin Star for a number of years alongside 3 AA Rosettes, earning a reputation as one of the country's leading restaurants for both exceptional food and warm, intuitive hospitality.

Working alongside an experienced Restaurant Manager and highly accomplished front-of-house team, this role would suit an existing Assistant Restaurant Manager or an experienced Restaurant Supervisor, Head Waiter or Head Waitress ready to take the next step into management.

The Restaurant: This is a restaurant where exceptional service is every bit as important as exceptional food. Guests travel from across the UK to experience refined, produce-led menus served in one of Britain's most spectacular coastal locations, with uninterrupted views across Oxwich Bay. Service is polished, knowledgeable and genuinely personal, creating memorable dining experiences that consistently match the restaurant's Michelin-starred reputation.

The Role: Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operation of the restaurant while maintaining the highest standards of service throughout every shift. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager with the daily operation of the restaurant
  • Leading and motivating the front-of-house team during service
  • Delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure
  • Assisting with staff training and ongoing development
  • Supporting wine and beverage service
  • Handling guest requests and resolving issues professionally
  • Maintaining the exceptional standards expected within a Michelin-starred restaurant
  • Leading by example and creating a positive, supportive team culture

About You: Current Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Head Waiter or Head Waitress. Previous experience within Michelin, AA Rosette or luxury hospitality environments. Passion for exceptional food, wine and guest service. Natural leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others. Calm, organised and professional under pressure. Confident communication and outstanding interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for hospitality and continuous improvement.

The Package: Package worth up to £43,000 including gratuities. 4-day working week. Approximately £10,000–£12,000 annual gratuities. Extra days worked paid separately. Enhanced Royal London pension.
