The Role involves working closely alongside the Head Chef, playing a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the kitchen while helping deliver consistently exceptional standards throughout service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen
- Leading service and confidently managing the brigade in the Head Chef's absence
- Preparing and delivering exceptional modern British dishes using outstanding seasonal produce
- Assisting with menu development, specials and recipe creation
- Supervising, mentoring and developing junior chefs
- Supporting stock control, ordering and food cost management
- Maintaining exceptional food hygiene and kitchen organisation
- Helping drive consistency, quality and a positive kitchen culture
