Home to a 2 AA Rosette restaurant and a 5 AA Gold Star country retreat, this stunning destination is renowned for its estate-to-plate philosophy, creating Mediterranean-inspired seasonal menus using exceptional produce harvested from its own kitchen gardens alongside the very best local suppliers.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Pastry Chef de Partie looking to refine their skills within a quality-driven kitchen that genuinely invests in training, creativity and career progression.

The kitchen works closely with the estate's own kitchen gardens alongside trusted local producers, creating dishes that celebrate outstanding ingredients throughout the seasons. You'll be joining a talented and supportive brigade where teamwork, development and attention to detail are fundamental to everything they do.

The Role

Working within the pastry section, you'll help produce exceptional desserts, breads and pastry creations while maintaining the consistently high standards expected of a 2 AA Rosette kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing high-quality desserts, pastries and baked goods
  • Assisting with breads, petit fours and seasonal pastry items
  • Working with exceptional produce from the estate's kitchen gardens and trusted local suppliers
  • Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation and quality
  • Assisting with stock control and minimising waste
  • Supporting seasonal menu development with creative ideas
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Keeping the pastry section organised, clean and service-ready at all times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie within a quality fresh-food kitchen
  • Experience working to at least 2 AA Rosette standard
  • Excellent pastry skills with a passion for desserts, baking and seasonal produce
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Food Hygiene certification
  • A positive, hardworking attitude with a genuine desire to continue learning and developing
  • The ability to perform calmly and consistently during busy services
