Awarded 4 AA Red Stars, this beautiful historic hotel is home to an acclaimed 2 AA Rosette restaurant, combining elegant dining, luxury accommodation and an award-winning spa within one of England's finest medieval villages. The pastry section plays a central role in the guest experience, producing everything from refined desserts and artisan breads to elegant afternoon teas, speciality cakes and seasonal pastries. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider brigade, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while maintaining the consistently high standards expected within an award-winning luxury hotel.
As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of the pastry section while supporting pastry production throughout the hotel. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing exceptional desserts, pastries and bakery products to a consistently high standard
- Producing signature afternoon teas, speciality cakes and seasonal desserts
- Baking breads, pastries and viennoiserie
- Managing your section during preparation and service
- Assisting with recipe development and seasonal menu changes
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and organisation
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy periods

The Package:
- Up to £32,000 per annum (Paid Hourly)
