An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join a Michelin-starred restaurant with rooms on the Cumbria/Scottish border. Operating at 1 Michelin Star and 3 AA Rosette level, this is a refined, tasting-menu-led kitchen focused on seasonality, precision and ingredient quality. With a 30-cover dining room and a small, highly skilled brigade, the kitchen delivers a focused dining experience built around 4 and 8-course tasting menus, evolving throughout the year.

The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for your section and play a key role in delivering food at Michelin standard. You will:
- Run your section during prep and service
- Maintain consistency, organisation and high standards
- Prepare and present dishes with precision and attention to detail
- Support menu development and seasonal changes
- Assist with stock control and ordering within your section
- Support and guide junior chefs where required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the kitchen
This is a hands-on role suited to a chef looking to develop within a focused, high-level environment.
The Package
- £32,000 base salary
- Equal share of service charge (OTE £35k+)
- 40-hour contract
- 3 days off per week
