We are recruiting a Cleaner to support a high-profile Birmingham restaurant opening operated by a group behind Michelin- and AA-accredited venues. This is a vital role within the business helping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across front-of-house, back-of-house and staff areas throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
The Role
- You will be responsible for ensuring the venue remains clean, safe and welcoming for guests and staff at all times.
- Duties include:
- Cleaning dining areas, staff facilities, toilets and back-of-house areas as required
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal correctly
- Following cleaning schedules, COSHH, HACCP and health & safety procedures
- Supporting deep cleans and pre/post-service resets
- Reporting maintenance or hygiene issues promptly to management

- Comfortable with physical tasks and standing for long periods
- Able to follow instructions, schedules and safety procedures
- Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and busy periods
