Working alongside an experienced management team, you'll play a key role in maintaining these exceptional standards while developing and inspiring a talented front of house brigade.
The Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring every service is delivered seamlessly and to the highest possible standard.
Leading by example on the floor, you'll motivate and develop the team, build lasting relationships with guests and take responsibility for the restaurant in the Restaurant Manager's absence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
- Leading service and acting as Restaurant Manager when required.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing the front of house team.
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalised service.
- Maintaining outstanding standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
- Assisting with team rotas, operational planning and performance management.
- Building strong relationships with returning guests and recognising individual preferences.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey throughout the hotel.
The Package
- £45,000 annual salary
- Approximately £4,500–£5,000 annual service charge

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor or similar leadership role within a quality restaurant or luxury hotel.
- Experience within a five-star or award-winning hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and people development skills.
- Excellent food, beverage and wine knowledge.
- Outstanding communication and guest engagement skills.
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
- A proactive, hands-on management style.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional hospitality and developing high-performing teams.
