An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Pastry Chef to join one of Worcestershire's finest luxury country house hotels. Part of the prestigious Pride of Britain Hotels collection, this elegant Queen Anne mansion has built an exceptional reputation for outstanding food, luxurious accommodation, award-winning spa facilities and genuine hospitality.

Working alongside an ambitious Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the entire pastry offering, creating beautiful seasonal desserts, afternoon teas, breads and petit fours for hotel guests, weddings, celebrations and special events. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pastry Chef looking for creative freedom within a supportive kitchen that genuinely values quality.

The hotel combines refined dining with relaxed country house hospitality. The kitchen works with fresh seasonal produce to deliver exceptional dining experiences across the restaurant, afternoon tea, private dining and events. As Pastry Chef, you'll have the opportunity to shape the pastry offering while maintaining the high standards expected within a Pride of Britain property.

The Role

  • Designing seasonal dessert menus
  • Producing afternoon tea pastries and cakes
  • Baking fresh breads and viennoiserie
  • Creating petit fours and celebration cakes
  • Managing ordering, stock control and food costs
  • Maintaining exceptional presentation and consistency
  • Supporting and developing junior members of the brigade
  • Driving creativity and introducing new seasonal ideas throughout the year
