An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade at a prestigious luxury country house hotel and spa in Worcestershire. Set within a beautiful Queen Anne mansion, this award-winning hotel combines exceptional hospitality, elegant surroundings and outstanding food. Holding 4 Silver Stars and home to a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, the kitchen is passionate about seasonal cooking, quality ingredients and continually developing its culinary offering.

The kitchen focuses on fresh, seasonal produce and delivering consistently high standards across the restaurant, private dining and events. Working alongside an experienced senior team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills within a quality-led brigade.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you'll play an important role within the kitchen team, supporting the delivery of exceptional food across the hotel's dining operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Running your section effectively during preparation and service.
  • Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard.
  • Working with seasonal ingredients and supporting menu development.
  • Maintaining excellent organisation, cleanliness and food safety standards.
  • Supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy services.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider brigade.
  • Contributing ideas and creativity to help continually develop the food offering.
  • Supporting junior members of the team where required.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a quality hotel, restaurant or Rosette-level kitchen.
  • Strong technical cooking skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for seasonal ingredients and quality food.
  • The ability to work calmly and effectively within a busy kitchen.
  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic.
  • Good organisation and communication skills.
  • A desire to continue learning and developing as a chef.

Working Pattern

  • 48 hours per week
  • Mixture of longer and shorter shifts:
    • Three 10am–10pm shifts
    • Two shorter shifts (7am–3pm / 9am–5pm / 3pm–10pm depending on operational needs)
