The Opportunity
We’re seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join the team at this award-winning property. Working closely with the Head Chef, this is a key leadership role in a 2 Rosette kitchen that celebrates craftsmanship, sustainability, and calm professionalism. The right candidate will bring both technical skill and creativity — helping shape menus that reflect the property’s sustainable ethos while maintaining consistency and excellence across all services.
Your Role
- Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and service
- Lead by example to deliver food consistently at 2 Rosette standard
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
- Manage ordering, stock control, and GP margins
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior chefs within the brigade
- Uphold exceptional hygiene, safety, and EHO standards
- Help develop the overall food offering as the business continues to evolve
About You
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a fine dining or 2 Rosette-level kitchen
- Passionate about sustainable, seasonal, and locally sourced produce
- Calm, reliable, and organised in a busy kitchen environment
- Creative flair with strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Team-focused with a positive, collaborative approach
- Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
