About the Role

A rare and exciting opportunity for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a luxury country house hotel with multiple dining outlets, including a fine dining restaurant holding 3 AA Rosettes. The hotel is renowned for delivering exceptional culinary experiences, from elegant afternoon teas to tasting menus and high-end weddings.

This is a role for a forward-thinking and accomplished chef who thrives in a refined environment. You’ll be expected to maintain and push the standards of an already exceptional kitchen, inspire and mentor a talented brigade, and lead with both creative flair and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all kitchen operations across multiple F&B outlets

Lead and inspire a team of chefs to deliver consistency, quality, and innovation

Maintain and elevate current AA Rosette standards with ambition for further accolades

Create and develop seasonal menus using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients

Manage stock levels, suppliers, food GP, and cost controls

Ensure impeccable food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen management at all times

Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance guest satisfaction and business goals

Support in recruitment, training, and development of the kitchen team

Who We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or fine dining environment

Experience at 3 AA Rosette level or above is highly desirable

Strong leadership qualities with a calm, hands-on approach

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Creative, passionate, and always striving for improvement

A solid understanding of cost control, stock management, and compliance

Ambitious and committed to developing both team and product

Competitive salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
