An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join a thriving, food-led country pub in the Cotswolds that has gone from strength to strength and is now looking to grow the kitchen brigade .
Part of a respected hospitality group with a strong reputation for quality, this is a well-run kitchen focused on seasonal British cooking, fresh produce, and consistently high standards , while offering the rare combination of serious earnings and genuine work–life balance .
The Role
Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
You will:
- Run your section confidently during prep and service
- Support the senior team in delivering consistent, high-quality food
- Assist with seasonal menu development and daily specials
- Help maintain strong organisation, prep standards and service consistency
- Support and help develop junior members of the brigade
- Uphold high standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen discipline
- Contribute positively to a strong, professional kitchen culture
This is a hands-on role offering genuine scope to develop further within the brigade.
The Package
- £32,000-33,000 base salary
- £12,000 annual tronc
- Realistic OTE £44,000–£45,000
- 4-day working week
- Christmas Day off
