This restaurant is seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. They have recently retained a Michelin plate as well as continuing to maintain its 3AA Rosette service with an aim to obtaining more. They have terrace dining available for guests as well as catering up to 90 covers in their restaurant along with providing a wonderful setting for functions. Furthermore, the cuisine is based on dishes centred on British and French cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu standards.
  • Support the team in all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain exceptional standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Contribute to menu development and suggest new dish ideas based on seasonal ingredients.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and assist in training junior staff as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
  • Help in stock management, including ordering, storing, and tracking kitchen supplies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of cooking techniques and culinary skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Desired Experience

  • Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is an advantage.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of cuisines is beneficial.
  • Transport is ideally required.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual salary of up to £32,000, commensurate with experience.
