We are recruiting a Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house operation at a high-quality restaurant in Birmingham city centre operated by an established group behind Michelin- and AA-accredited venues. This is a hands-on management role for a confident hospitality professional who thrives on the floor, leads by example and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent guest experiences across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Role
- Responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the front of house ensuring service standards, team performance and guest satisfaction remain consistently high.
- Managing daily front-of-house operations across all services.
- Leading scheduling, training and motivating the FOH team.
- Delivering warm professional service and handling guest feedback effectively.
- Supporting labour planning, stock control and cost management alongside senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety licensing and company standards.
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider team on menus, events and promotions.
- Acting as a visible leader on the floor during service.
About You
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Senior Duty Manager.
- Background in quality-led restaurants or premium hospitality environments.
- Confident people manager with excellent communication skills.
- Commercially aware, organised and calm under pressure.
- Passionate about service standards and team development.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and busy trading periods.
- Right to work in the UK.
