Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior leadership team, you will help oversee all aspects of wine service while maintaining the exceptional standards expected within a luxury 4 AA Rosette restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering professional and engaging wine service throughout lunch and dinner
  • Advising guests on wine selections and food pairings
  • Supporting the management and development of the wine cellar
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering and inventory management
  • Helping train and develop junior members of the front‑of‑house team
  • Working closely with the kitchen to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of presentation and service throughout the restaurant

Qualifications

  • Current Assistant Head Sommelier, Sommelier, or experienced wine professional ready to progress
  • Previous experience within Michelin, AA Rosette or luxury hotel environments would be highly advantageous
  • WSET qualifications would be beneficial, although enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally important
  • Passion for wine, food pairing and guest service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm, organised and professional under pressure
  • A genuine team player with a desire to continually develop
