We are seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join an accomplished brigade of chefs in one of the UK's most unique country house hotels. Working closely with the Head and Sous Chefs, you will help drive standards, support menu development, and lead by example across prep and service.   • Assist the Head and Sous Chefs in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and deliver dishes to an award-winning standard across multiple services.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency at all times.
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal dishes.
  • Take responsibility for sections during service and lead junior chefs when required.
  • Maintain strict food safety and health & safety standards.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members in line with kitchen values.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, precision, and calm leadership under pressure.

Proven experience as a Junior Sous or strong Chef de Partie in a 3-AA Rosette or Michelin Guide standard environment. A passion for modern British cuisine and local, seasonal produce. Strong organisational and leadership skills. Creative flair with attention to detail and a desire to progress. Calm, mature, and composed nature with excellent communication skills. A true team player with a professional approach and commitment to quality.
