Knavesmire Primary School is looking to appointa caring and dedicated person to support all aspects of the out of school careprovision for pupils.
The successful candidate will be responsible forsupporting the delivery of high quality care and provision for the children whoattend the Knavesmire Cool Kids Club (KCKC), making the school’s provision awarm, fun and supportive place to be.
You will be responsible for ensuring thesafety and wellbeing of pupils, delivering engaging activities under theguidance and support of the After School and Holiday Club Manager.
You will have experience of working withchildren or young people in a play work or educational setting, deliveringengaging activities for pupils, and you will be able to communicate effectivelywith pupils, parents/carers and staff.
You will have a good standard of literacy andnumeracy, and a qualification in childcare would be an advantage.
Additionalqualifications in food hygiene and first aid are desirable, but training willbe provided if you do not already hold these.
The trustwill be undertaking a job evaluation exercise in the near future and, therefore, the grade for this position may change.
