The expansion of the Engineering Department means we are now looking to recruit new Electrical & Power Supervisor. Can you commit to a 6-weeks-on/2-weeks-off site rotation, working irregular hours and responding to on-site emergencies in varying conditions? Can you lead Electrical & Power construction end-to-end—coordinating contractors, enforcing safe work practices and EU electrical norms, and ensuring work meets the design and quality standards? Can you read single-line diagrams and review drawings in AutoCAD/Navisworks, align construction with commissioning, and deliver accurate as-built documentation? Can you communicate and take ownership—providing clear reports, prioritising workflows to meet customer dates, resolving problems, and role-modelling Knauf’s values of Commitment, Entrepreneurship, Partnership and Menschlichkeit?

As Electrical & Power Supervisor, you would be the on-site lead for delivering safe, high-quality electrical utilities—coordinating design through commissioning, enforcing European standards, driving contractor performance and quality, and meeting customer milestones and documentation under a 6-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotation with irregular hours and challenging site conditions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate the design phases and construction coactivity of the Electrical & Power equipment
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of Electrical & Power site activities to ensure construction work on the plant is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Check Quality of Works during construction phase and work is done based on design
  • Check construction activities are in place in accordance with planning and performances of contractors
  • Enforce safe work procedures and policies
  • Coordination between the commissioning and construction team
  • Communicate well through periodic reports and reviews with the project team, engineering management, and the customer
  • Support the start-up
  • Deliver the as-built documentation

What we’d love for you to have:

We are interested in you as a person; your attitude, behaviours and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don’t already have, we’d love to speak to you. We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Safety-first, quality-driven and accountable.
  • Organised, proactive and able to prioritise and multi-task across contractors and workfronts.
  • A clear, assertive communicator who builds positive relationships and leads by example.
  • Comfortable switching between office coordination and hands-on site supervision.
  • Calm under pressure, solution-oriented and decisive in emergencies.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Willing to work a 6-weeks-on/2-weeks-off site rotation with irregular hours, nights and weekends.
  • Aligned with Knauf values: Commitment, Entrepreneurship, Partnership and Menschlichkeit.

If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:

  • Supervising electrical utilities construction in industrial plants, from design through commissioning.
  • Reading single-line diagrams; reviewing drawings and models in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
  • Applying European electrical norms and best-practice installation procedures (IEC/EN).
  • QA/QC of electrical installations and delivering accurate as-built documentation.
  • Construction planning/programme control, progress tracking and contractor performance management.
  • Coordinating construction–commissioning interfaces and supporting start-up.
  • Enforcing site safety (permit-to-work, LOTO, RAMS/JSA) and incident response.
  • Managing HV/LV power distribution: switchgear, transformers, MCCs, earthing, cable systems/trays, lighting, UPS/generators.
  • Preparing clear reports for project teams, management and customers; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

We will provide:

As this is a central, international position, the package and associated benefits will be those of the contract's host country. Our common criterion was to build a comprehensive salary package that stands out in the market. On top of that, a dedicated time for personal development and potential for leadership training will be provided.
