Reporting into the Warehouse Team Leader, we are searching for a team member to join us as a Mobile Plant Operator at our Immingham Plant. This role requires you to work a mix of days and nights on a 3‑week rolling shift pattern. Shifts are 12 hours, starting at 07:00 or 19:00.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work efficiently and accurately within the warehouse, performing continuous quality checks and monitoring operations.
- Ensure the forklift truck is well‑maintained and contribute to high customer satisfaction by verifying that the correct goods are loaded onto vehicles and dispatched on time.
- Adhere to company Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Accurately pick orders and efficiently load trucks.
- Promptly communicate any issues to the appropriate personnel for swift resolution and ensure smooth shift handovers to maintain seamless loading operations.
- Ensure high‑quality products are delivered to customers.
- Maintain accurate stock records.
- Comply with all quality systems to guarantee product standards.
- Follow established operating procedures.
- Keep detailed records and report issues clearly and accurately.
- Identify and segregate defective products, ensuring damaged items are replaced with new pallets.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of site systems and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Perform any other tasks required to fulfill your role effectively.
What We'd Love For You To Have
- The ability to read and interpret dispatch notes accurately.
- Experience working within quality systems.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck license.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including days, nights and weekends.
