As an Engineering Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your Engineering skills and knowledge, whilst working in a Global Manufacturing business that puts the development of its people as a priority.
The Apprenticeship Program
The learning provider for this apprenticeship will be Coleg Cambria, Deeside Campus. The Apprenticeship program will comprise of 1 year full time and 3 years part time study at Coleg Cambria to obtain the widely recognised Higher National Certificate (HNC) qualification. The successful candidates will also be continuously evaluated by external assessors throughout the apprenticeship program to achieve NVQ level 3. Additional vocational training will also be provided depending on chosen discipline. This may include:
- PLC programming
- welding
- 18th Edition wiring regulations
- PAT testing
- ultrasonic predictive measurement
- first aid
- and more
Apprenticeship Requirements
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths, Science and English.
- Be responsible for travelling to and from the required place of work & education.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn, along with good communication and inter‑personal skills.
