As a Cover Production Operative, you operate both production lines in conjunction with additional ancillary equipment as efficiently as possible, maximising product quality and output.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Conduct efficient product changeovers, equipment set up and fault finding on production lines and react quickly to line requirements with high production speeds.
  • Re-introduction of loose product to conveying lines from warehouse storage areas using safe manual handling techniques, during periods of line in-activity.
  • Follow production plans, manufacture the correct product and quantities so they are available for loading.
  • Comply 100% with the current quality systems in place and record data as required to help monitor plant performance.
  • Comply with all Continuous Improvement initiatives in all areas of the plant and participate proactively in process improvement.
  • Be prepared to work at 24 hours notice, and have a flexible approach to your area of work.
