As our Engineering Stores Manager you will support the maintenance team managing inventory, logistical tasks and the overhaul of equipment. Ensuring stock accuracy, cost control of spare parts, accurate stock levels, and proper documentation to support the maintenance team.
What you'll be doing...
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming maintenance spare parts.
- Store items in an organized and accessible manner.
- Issue spares promptly to maintenance personnel based on cost centres, work orders and reservations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP.
- Perform regular stock checks, audits, and cycle counts.
- Identify and report obsolete, slow-moving, or excess stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for restocking and refurbishment orders.
- Responsible for ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Generate reports on stock usage, discrepancies and performance KPIs.
- Arranging collection and deliveries.
- Transporting inventory in operational areas.
- Maintaining effective communication with cross functional teams – i.e. maintenance planner, reliability engineer & maintenance supervisors.
- Ensure all safety, environmental, and company procedures are followed in the stores area.
