As our Engineering Project Manager, you will maximise availability of the plant and processes and ensure they operate effectively, efficiently, and safely by implementing Capital & Improvement Projects throughout the site.

What you’ll be doing

  • Project Manager – To develop engineering designs, specifications, technical descriptions, cost estimates, prepares written reports and technical specifications for various capital & improvement projects.
  • Safety & Compliance – Apply, and ensure compliance, with the Company’s Health & Safety and Environmental Policy and Procedures by contractors so that a safe and secure environment is maintained.
  • Budget Control – Manage project expenditure in order that agreed solutions are delivered within budget.
  • Maintenance Engineering/ Supervision – Supervise routine tasks on drop shifts and be responsible for areas during shutdowns.
  • Continuous Improvement – Actively engaging in plant CI activities, liaise with CI Teams to engage & implement improvement projects around the site. Actively seek opportunities to save energy to support sustainability targets. Provide support with the development of OSI PI & PLC links to improve plant visualisation of process.
  • Control Systems – Good understanding of all site systems: Inverter drives (ABB & Siemens), PLCs (Siemens S7), instrumentation (analogue and digital) and networks (fiber optic, Profinet, Profibus DP & AS-I).
  • Physical Infrastructure – Support the Engineering Manager in keeping the Site, buildings and fabric, physical infrastructure and Manufacturing and Assembly assets and equipment, in a well maintained and safe condition through implementation of agreed capex projects.
