As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, ensuring that productivity and quality levels are maintained, whilst adhering to all safety, environmental and energy standards.
- Operating a counter balanced forklift truck to transport pallets of finished product to stock.
- Ensuring that all systems of work, procedures and work instructions are adhered to.
- Providing flexibility and an ability to carry out a variety of tasks.
- Being responsible for keeping the work area clean.
- Ensuring continuity of warehouse operation is maintained by communicating all issues (safety, productivity, environmental and maintenance etc.) to the Warehouse Manager.
- Complying with and promoting all health, safety, environmental and energy requirements for the job, site, and company.
- Reporting unsafe behaviours to prevent safety or environmental incidents.
- Contributing and taking part in continuous improvement activities.
- Incorporating the Knauf Values in all aspects.
You will be working to a full time Rota, 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off. There must also be a flexibility to your working hours in order to meet customer requirements.

- An accredited Counterbalance License
- Experience in pallet loading activities.
- Team player attitude.
- Good Numeracy & literacy.
- Basic level computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A high level of operating standards and the ability to work to company practices.
