As our Control Technician, your goal will be to maximize plant and process availability, ensuring they operate effectively, efficiently, and safely.
What you’ll be doing…
- Equipment Failures: Conduct effective fault finding and problem resolution to root cause on a wide range of complex systems in a continuous process environment, maintaining plant efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance: Apply and ensure compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
- Budget Control: Support the Engineering team by following financial control procedures to keep an accurate picture of current spend versus budget.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in plant continuous improvement activities.
- Physical Infrastructure: Support maintenance of the site, buildings, infrastructure, and assets by reporting issues and carrying out repairs where possible.
- Resource Utilisation: Use time effectively by focusing on notifications, work orders, and preventive maintenance routines, utilizing predictive engineering tools like thermal imaging.

- Time-served multi-skilled engineer with HNC qualification or equivalent experience, with strong technical knowledge of PLCs, drives, networks, and mechanics.
