As a Mechanical Craftsman, you will maximise the operating efficiency of the plant whilst maintaining plant assets.
What youll be doing 1.
Be responsible for all Mechanical Maintenance activities in a busy 24/7 production facility.
Provide maintenance service for all process and ancillary support equipment and services, in order to maximize asset availability and production capability. 2.
The successful candidate should have Safety First ethic and follow all safe working procedures (Risk assessment, LOTOTO, Permits etc.) to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. 3.
Co-ordinate the maintenance activities within a specified area of the plant 4.
Work in close liaison with managers. 5.
Train, guide and develop the team, with a specific eye on apprentice development 6.
Allocate parts and prioritise work to maximize effectiveness of engineering resources. 7.
