Can you commit to a 3 weeks on-site, 1 week at home rotation, including irregular hours (nights, weekends, and holidays)? Can you lead and directly supervise multiple contractors, enforcing safe work procedures and resolving issues swiftly? Can you coordinate design, construction, and commissioning for Control Systems, Utilities, and Piping to keep the plan on track? Can you ensure quality and compliance with European electrical norms, interpreting E-PLAN/single-line diagrams, reviewing AutoCAD/Navisworks, and delivering complete as-built documentation?

What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate the design phases and construction coactivity of the Control Systems equipment.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of Control Systems site activities to ensure construction work on the plant is performed safely and efficiently.

- Enforce safe work procedures and policies.
- Coordination between the commissioning and construction team.
- Communicate well through periodic reports and reviews with the project team, engineering management, and the customer.
- Support the start-up.
- Deliver the as-built documentation.
We're interested in you as a person—your attitude, behaviours and values. If you have the willingness to learn whatever you don't yet know, we'd love to speak to you.
What we'd love for you to have:
- Safety-first and quality-focused, with a calm, solution-oriented approach under pressure.
- Autonomous, organised and proactive, comfortable leading on site while collaborating across functions.
- A clear, confident communicator (fluent in English) who builds positive relationships and can be assertive with stakeholders.
- Equally at ease with theory and practice, able to multi-task and prioritise to keep complex plans on track.
- Willing to work a 3-weeks on site, 1-week at home rotation, including irregular hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Flexibility in terms of location: the actual place of work will be in various locations in Europe, depending on project requirements.
- Aligned with Knauf values: Commitment, Entrepreneurship, Partnership and Menschlichkeit.
If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:
- Supervising construction contractors, directing workflow, appraising performance and resolving issues.

- Reading and interpreting single-line diagrams, E-PLAN and functional descriptions; reviewing drawings in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
- Applying European electrical norms, electrical installation procedures and construction quality assurance.
- Supporting plant start-up and delivering complete as-built documentation.
- Producing clear site reports for project teams, engineering management and customers; interfacing with senior management.
- Planning constructability, keeping schedules aligned and ensuring contractors meet deadlines.
- Enforcing safety procedures and responding to unexpected or emergency situations.
- Working across office and site environments, including outdoors in varying conditions.
