Knaresborough Golf Club are seeking to recruit an experienced Greenkeeper to join our current Greens team. The position of Assistant Greenkeeper has recently become available and applications are welcome from qualified Greenkeepers looking to develop their career. The day to day presentation of our mature parkland course for our active membership and wide visitor base is a key priority, along with the development of the course and its ranking within the golfing community over the coming years. This role is suitable for a qualified and experienced Assistant Greenkeeper who is fully competent and can work without supervision.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience
  • A positive work attitude, be flexible and self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic including pride and attention to detail
  • Able to work to the Club’s flexible weekend Rota system
  • Resourceful and organised
  • Be professional in appearance and actions
  • Ability to prioritise appropriately

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and above
  • PA1, PA2 and PA6a chemical application licenses
  • Chainsaw/digger qualifications desirable but not essential
