Leigh Academy Milestone are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Class Teacher to join us from January 2026 (or sooner). Our successful candidates will offer the very best teaching and learning to our pupils and ensure they achieve the excellent outcomes they deserve. The successful candidates will have experience of working with students with SEN and will be selected based on their commitment and enthusiasm to learn and apply new skills to achieve the very best for our pupils and their own development.

Please be aware that it is not required for candidates to hold a specific SEN qualification to be considered for this role. This is a permanent opportunity offering MPS/UPS commensurate with experience + SEN allowance £2,787 (SEN1). We can be receptive to part-time or full-time applicants.
Leigh Academy Milestone is a large special school for pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex needs, across five sites and is part of Leigh Academies Trust. We currently have 385 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 19. Leigh Academy Milestone has been judged as Outstanding by Ofsted at our last four inspections!
