Exciting Opportunity for Underwriting Administrator!
We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver who is looking to start their career in Insurance as an Underwriting Administrator, working for a dynamic, city-based insurance company. As part of this close-knit underwriting team, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the administration of the underwriting portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
- Data Management: Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the company\’s system, maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
- Process Improvement: Take charge of the administration function, suggesting process improvements and bringing fresh ideas to enhance team efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work directly with the Senior Underwriter, gaining valuable autonomy while making a significant impact on the department’s day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Good GCSE’s including Maths & English, along with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage complex tasks with confidence.
- Curiosity & Initiative: A passion for learning, a curious mindset, and a willingness to take ownership of your role and suggest innovative solutions.
- Numerical Skills: Strong proficiency in working with numbers and spreadsheets, with the ability to navigate and support in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: You’ll need to build and maintain strong relationships with the London underwriting and broker community, so excellent communication skills are a must.
