My Client, a global retailer, is looking for a PA to join them on a Temp to Perm basis, as a second PA to a Snr EA in the Chairman's office. Working collaboratively with the PAs to assist in maximising the effectiveness of the Chairman’s Office, the CPPO / Finance Executives by efficiently planning, organising and implementing the administrative tasks they are involved with.
Assisting with organising in person or virtual events for small and large groups. In addition, providing support with any non-executive directors’ requirements and to other senior PAs, as required. This is a great opportunity to support a variety of people in this global organisation and develop your EA skills, as you will be working with Snr EAs supporting the most senior people within the business, giving you great exposure and the opportunity to develop your career.
To efficiently and effectively make appointments and coordinate dates, times and locations for meetings, telephone conversations and conference calls with senior individuals both internally and externally. To assist in proactively managing senior management diaries as required, liaising with senior individuals internally and externally. Ad-hoc team meetings to be arranged as required.
To arrange travel itineraries that meet business needs including flights, hotels and any visa or medical arrangements. To effectively filter calls and requests for the CPPO’s time ensuring that spurious callers are politely turned away, whilst legitimate ones are dealt with in a manner suitable to their criticality to the CPPO’s agenda/instructions. Finding external event venues, within budget, as required. Support, as required, other PAs within the corporate Head Office. PowerPoint presentations as required. Any other duties of an associated/similar nature.
The person:
- Experience of successfully applying PA and Team support skills
- Highly organised and proactive self-starter whilst still being a team player
- Excellent verbal and written skills with previous exposure to senior stakeholders
- Previous International diary and travel management
- Excellent IT skills to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
