We are working with a dynamic and creative studio seeking an experienced Studio Manager to join the team on a 3-month contract. This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of the business, supporting operations across office management, finance, and HR.

The Role- Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring a smooth, well-maintained working environment
- Manage premises, facilities, and general office upkeep, including kitchen and shared spaces
- Provide administrative support across the business
- Assist with PQQs and tender submissions
- Finance Support
- Manage petty cash and expenses
- Assist with sales invoicing
- Support the accountant with monthly payroll (including pensions, expenses, and new starters)
- Monitor and chase aged debtors
- HR & Operations
- Act as the main point of contact for external HR providers
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including:
- Drafting contracts and preparing job offers
- Coordinating interviews and onboarding new starters
- Managing inductions, IT setup, and welcome packs
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems
- Support absence and holiday tracking
- Assist with RIBA and CPD training coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for staff queries across HR, finance, and office operations
- Additional Support
- Provide cover for reception, including meet-and-greet duties
- Offer PA support to directors (diary management, bookings, etc.)
- Assist with internal events, including summer party coordination
- Proven experience in a similar Studio Manager / Office Manager / Operations role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Confident working across HR, finance, and office management functions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and highly reliable
- Experience in a creative or architectural practice is advantageous
