Reporting to: Head of Property Asset Management

Initial 9 month contract - potential to go permanent.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Data Manager to join a dynamic Global Retail group within their Property Asset Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-focused professional to play a key role in managing, maintaining and improving property data across a large and complex property portfolio. The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact for property data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and governance standards are maintained while supporting business-critical property and finance processes. You will also line manage an Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain property data systems, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and integrity.
  • Act as the primary contact for property-related data requests across the business.
  • Support compliance with IFRS16 accounting requirements and property reporting standards.
  • Process and monitor property approvals and data updates in a timely manner.
  • Maintain property documentation, records and audit trails.
  • Produce regular property reports and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Finance and Property teams to ensure data consistency and alignment.
  • Investigate, resolve and escalate data quality issues where required.
  • Conduct periodic data audits and cleansing exercises.
  • Support the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with landlords, internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure accurate property information is maintained throughout the property lifecycle.
  • Deliver data quality reporting and insights to support business decision-making.

About You

  • Experience managing and analysing large volumes of data, ideally within a property, real estate or asset management environment.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and data management principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working closely with Finance teams and understanding of accounting-related data requirements.
  • The ability to identify process improvements and drive data quality enhancements.
