We are seeking a dynamic and services focused Office Manager to join our client, a global retail business based in Russel Square, to support with the daily function of the office. This includes working with Senior Leadership on the pending office move.

The right person will have previous experience as an Office Manager within a corporate business, along with people management skills. You will enjoy being the go-to person and promote a collaborative approach across the business.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing a professional reception and switchboard service, ensuring all internal and external visitors have a positive experience.
  • Complete meeting room and hot desk management, to include all refreshment for meetings.
  • Complete management of the day to day running of the office ensuring facilities are safe and secure, being the go-to person for any internal facilities queries.
  • Adherence to H&S requirements, ensuring appropriate training of fire wardens, first aiders and maintaining emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Be the first point of contact for the building management team, communicating with regards to all building issues.
  • Overseeing 3rd party services including statutory testing, cleaning contractors and other supplier partners.
  • Maintenance of suppliers’ contracts ensuring they are compliant and renewed appropriately.
  • Control and monitor costs, to include efficient processing of supplier invoices.
  • Lead the operations of the relocation project ensuring that the building services are setup from day 1, the move management is completed successfully.

If you have a strong background in Office Management, with a proven track record in planning and organising workload whilst managing last minute changes and conflicts, you will be comfortable managing a small reception/facilities team ensuring they are kept motivated, and the office space is always immaculately presented. Previous experience of managing an office move will be highly advantageous.
