This is a fantastic role for a proactive HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle and wants to play a key part in shaping employee experience, supporting managers, and contributing to ongoing HR projects and organisational development.
Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you will provide a professional, accurate and people-focused HR service while helping to drive continuous improvement across HR processes and practices.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate all pre-employment administration, including contracts, right-to-work checks and background screening.
- Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new employees.
- Deliver HR inductions and support employee integration into the business.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Employee Lifecycle Administration
- Produce employment-related documentation including contract amendments, references and benefits correspondence.
- Manage probation review processes and ensure timely completion by managers.
- Process employee departures and conduct exit interviews.
- Maintain HR databases and personnel records to a high standard of accuracy and compliance.
- HR Advisory & Employee Relations Support
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers.
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance and administrative support.
- Assist the HR Manager with employee relations matters.
- Support absence management processes and monitor review meetings.
- Ensure HR activities are carried out in line with employment legislation and best practice.
- HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Review and update HR policies and procedures.
- Create process maps, training materials and presentations.
- Support the delivery of HR initiatives and improvement projects.
- Contribute to building a positive, engaging and high-performing workplace culture.
About You
The successful candidate will have
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR administration and employee lifecycle processes.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
- The confidence to build strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment undergoing growth and change.
