Temp Client Services Analyst / Coordinator | City | 5 days onsite | Immediate start

We are recruiting for a specialist UK consultancy that helps mid-market businesses identify and reduce overhead and indirect costs, working across a range of non-core business spend.

The business works closely with CFOs and senior stakeholders to deliver measurable cost savings while ensuring businesses maintain control, service levels and strong supplier relationships.

The role

This is a hands-on Client Services & Operations position within a small, fast-paced business.

It is not an EA or PA role and there is no team to manage. Instead, you will take personal ownership of client and supplier work from start to finish, managing queries, processes and documentation through to completion.

The role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, is highly organised and has excellent numerical and Excel skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing client onboarding and operational workflows from start to finish
  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients and suppliers by telephone and email
  • Preparing quotations, savings schedules and invoices
  • Using Excel extensively to produce accurate financial and operational information
  • Processing invoicing and commission accurately and in real time
  • Handling client and supplier queries independently and seeing them through to resolution
  • Maintaining accurate operational records, systems and documentation
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of client and supplier processes
  • About you

We are looking for someone with genuine, hands-on Excel experience who is comfortable working with numbers and detailed information on a daily basis.

    You will ideally have:

  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and structured templates
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy
  • Confidence communicating directly with clients and suppliers
  • Previous experience working within a small, lean or entrepreneurial business environment
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and resolve issues independently
  • The ability to work at pace while maintaining a high standard of accuracy
  • A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved across the operation

Please note: This is an Excel-heavy position, so candidates from purely general administration, reception or traditional PA backgrounds without strong numerical Excel experience are unlikely to be suitable.

Why apply?

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently and being involved in the detail of a business, rather than simply coordinating tasks or managing a team.

If you are available at short notice and have strong Excel, numerical and client-facing skills, we would love to hear from you.
