We’re partnering with a fast-growing fintech start-up at a pivotal stage of scale. They are looking for an experienced interim People Operations Partner to step in and bring structure, confidence, and expertise—particularly across employee relations, policies, and people frameworks.
This is a hands-on role working closely with the Head of People, where you’ll be the go-to for all things ER while helping to build and embed best-in-class people practices in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Duties will include:
- Leading on employee relations cases end-to-end (disciplinaries, grievances, performance, exits)
- Providing pragmatic, risk-aware advice to managers and leadership
- Reviewing, creating, and embedding policies, processes, and guidelines
- Bringing consistency and clarity to people practices across the business
- Supporting line managers to build confidence in handling ER matters
- Identifying gaps in current frameworks and implementing improvements quickly
- Partnering closely with leadership on people-related risk and decision-making
Proven experience as a People Partner / HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environment (ideally start-up or scale-up).
You must have:
- Strong, hands-on expertise in employee relations
- Solid experience developing and implementing HR policies and frameworks
- Confident operating with autonomy in ambiguous or evolving environments
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and best practice
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
