We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fabrication Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations at our facility in Lisburn. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in welding and fabrication, and a keen eye for quality control. Duties

  • Supervise daily fabrication activities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate with team members to allocate tasks involving welding.
  • Monitor the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
  • Conduct quality inspections on finished products and ongoing work to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Provide training to team members on the correct use of tools and techniques.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations across all operations within the workshop or site environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, materials used, and team performance.

Skills

  • Proven experience in welding and welding techniques.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes including sheet metal work and assembly.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Competence in basic maths for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
