About the Role
KMCO Group is looking to appoint a Streetworks Coordinator to join our established Streetworks team, supporting delivery across major Tier 1 fibre infrastructure programmes. This role plays a key part in ensuring civils works are correctly permitted, coordinated and closed out, working closely with internal delivery teams, subcontractors, traffic management providers and local authorities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within telecoms infrastructure, with full training provided where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Permitting & Compliance
- Open and close permits and notices
- Submit registrations and manage MODs and refusals
- Review, respond to and dispute failed inspections and FPNs
- Request and permit Traffic Management Plans
- Manage permitting for civils, cabling and splicing works
- Project Coordination
- Plan and coordinate civils works to support programme delivery
- Liaise with developers, local authorities and internal teams
- Ensure photo evidence is captured and logged by operatives and subcontractors
- Book and manage traffic management services
- Commercial & Administrative Support
- Raise cost variations for works outside original scope
- Close off civil orders and hand over to as-built teams for claims
- Provide general administrative and project support as required
About You
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- IT literate and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
- Telecoms or utilities background preferred
- Experience with Street Manager and/or Symology Aurora desirable
- Salesforce experience beneficial but not essential
- Willing to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment
