We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company specialising in the supply, servicing, and support of heavy construction, quarrying, and recycling equipment across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Engineer to join their Avonmouth workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong technical knowledge of crushing, screening, and recycling machinery who is looking to join a busy and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on crushing, screening, and waste recycling equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently.
  • Complete repairs to a high standard while adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Inspect equipment and identify preventative maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to ensure equipment is prepared and returned to service promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working on crushers, screeners, and waste recycling equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of a range of OEM brands.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Good mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable.
