We’re working with a well-established hire business in the North West London area who are looking to bring in an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join their depot team. This is a hands-on role focused on the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of small plant and tools, with occasional site visits when required.

The Role

  • Service, repair and maintain a variety of small tools and equipment
  • Work across electric (110v & 240v), petrol, diesel and 2-stroke machinery
  • Complete service and maintenance records accurately
  • Liaise directly with customers when required
  • Primarily depot-based, with occasional site breakdown attendance
  • Take part in training and development programmes

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience working with small tools and plant equipment
  • Strong knowledge of electric, diesel, petrol and hydraulic systems
  • PAT Testing experience is essential
  • NVQ in Tool Maintenance (or equivalent) desirable
  • A methodical, problem-solving mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
