Our client is seeking a skilled Plant Workshop Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of their plant fleet, managing both the workshop technicians and mobile fitters. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all equipment, managing a team of technicians (workshop and mobile), and maintaining a safe working environment.
Duties:
- Managing the Workshop and all fleet maintenance activity.
- Plan, assign and review the work of the fitters to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels for spare parts and equipment.
- Manage stock.
- Oversee, monitor and drive engineering standards.
- Liaise with the Depot Manager and Asset Manager to ensure maximum availability of fleet.
- Willingly perform ad hoc duties as required.
Skills:
- Proven people manager in a Workshop Manager capacity.
- Experience working with machinery in a workshop environment.
