We’re working with a well-established hire business in the North West London area who are looking to bring in an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join their depot team. This is a hands‑on role focused on the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of small plant and tools, with occasional site visits when required.
The Role
- Service, repair and maintain a variety of small tools and equipment
- Work across electric (110v & 240v), petrol, diesel and 2-stroke machinery
- Complete service and maintenance records accurately
- Liaise directly with customers when required
- Primarily depot‑based, with occasional site breakdown attendance
- Take part in training and development programmes
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working with small tools and plant equipment
- Strong knowledge of electric, diesel, petrol and hydraulic systems
- PAT Testing Experience Is Essential
- NVQ in Tool Maintenance (or equivalent) desirable
- A methodical, problem‑solving mindset
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
