You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of plant hire equipment across customer sites in the region. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service, with early starts and structured working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect heavy plant equipment using Class 1 HGV vehicles
  • Conduct pre and post-use checks to ensure vehicles and loads are safe and compliant
  • Carry out all tasks in line with company procedures, road transport regulations, and health & safety guidelines
  • Complete relevant paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and service logs
  • Liaise with the depot and customers to ensure timely and professional service
  • Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy, and stocked with necessary tools and equipment

Requirements:

  • Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within plant hire, construction, or logistics
  • Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and transport legislation
  • Ability to work independently, with a proactive and reliable approach
  • Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service
