We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established plant company, with a strong UK presence and a reputation for service excellence. They’re looking to add a Service Coordinator to their busy depot in the Bristol area.

The Role

You’ll support the Service Manager by coordinating a team of mobile engineers, ensuring servicing and repairs are scheduled efficiently and completed on time. It’s a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone with strong administration and coordination skills who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling service calls and escalating queries where required
  • Raising quotations and service work orders using the in-house system
  • Scheduling engineers for maintenance and breakdowns across multiple depots
  • Liaising with the parts team to ensure parts availability
  • Maintaining and updating daily/weekly Work In Progress (WIP) reports
  • Raising purchase orders and assisting with job costings and completion records
  • Providing general admin support across the service team

About You

You’ll be proactive, organised, and able to multitask in a busy environment. Experience in service coordination, scheduling, or administration within the plant, construction, or related sectors is essential.

  • Heavy Plant knowledge essential
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a similar industry
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
