A leading UK law firm with one of the largest Pensions teams in the UK are seeking an NQ Associate to join their Guildford office.

You will join a highly regarded specialist practice advising a broad client base of trustees, employers and pension scheme providers. You will provide advice across all aspects of pensions law, including scheme governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and pensions issues arising in corporate transactions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting partners and senior lawyers on a wide range of pensions & life assurance matters, including advisory, transactional, and regulatory work
  • Advising trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pension scheme & life assurance scheme issues, including scheme governance, benefit structures, and compliance
  • Assisting with pensions aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and drafting pensions-related documentation
  • Drafting and reviewing scheme documentation, member communications, and legal advice notes

Candidate

Please apply if you have experience working on pensions related transactions, advice and contentious matters. You must be a trainee or qualified Solicitor in England and Wales or Scotland with a well regarded firm. As a guide we are considering candidates with between 0-3 years PQE.
